The Difference Between Healing and Transformation: An Energetic Perspective
Healing and transformation both have their energetic components. So from this perspective, what is the difference between the two? Here is my perspective on the energetic difference between them.
If you think of the human body as being porous (which it is—read more here), there is energy and light which flows through the empty space within us. It's almost as though we have infinitesimal "pipes" flowing through our system.
To be healthy and fully receptive to the good in life, we need three things:
Healing: From this vibrational perspective, when you have an immediate problem--illness, disease, pain, emotional wounding, and so forth—you have a blockage within your energetic system. When you heal, that "clog" in the "pipes" of your energetic system clears. This in turn allows the energy and light to flow freely, bringing new movement to that place which previously had stagnation. This correlates with greater wellbeing.
Transformation, on the other hand, is different. The reason for this is because it is the type of movement and patterns within your vibrational field which determine the patterns in your life—that is, what you are attracting in terms of your relationships, abundance, self-expression, life circumstances, connection, and so on. Transformation can occur when you reroute the "pipes" of your energetic system, creating new patterns of flow within your energy field. These new vibrational patterns in turn help create new patterns in your life.
Overlap of Healing and Transformation: Continuing with this pipe analogy can help us to understand the interconnection of healing and transformation.
Healing can lead to transformation: If you have a complex system of pipes with water running through them and there is a clog within one of the pipes, the flow of the water will automatically reroute because of the resistance caused by that clog. When you remove the clog, the pathway can shift to a more natural pattern of flow. Hence the pattern of movement has changed. So when healing occurs, vibrational patterns can shift, bringing about transformation.
Transformation can lead to healing: Similarly, if you restructure the way the pipes are arranged, the water will flow through the pipes differently, potentially reaching an area where there has been a clog, perhaps with greater force. This flow may in turn help release the clog, allowing the flow to return to its natural state of ease. Analogously, transformation can naturally bring about healing.

To be healthy and fully receptive to the good in life, we need three things:
- to have plenty of energy and light moving through us
- to have that energy and light flowing freely throughout our energetic system
- to have our energetic pathways structured in a way which reflect our greatest potential
